How to find the perfect frame for your face
For a round face
Choose frames that have angles – think square and rectangular – and that are wider than your face, to slim and lengthen your features, while providing balance.
For a square face
The key here is to soften your angles with glasses that sit high on the bridge of your nose. Oval and round frames will harmonise perfectly with your face shape.
For an oval face
Go for glasses with a strong bridge (the part that sits across your nose), are wider than the widest part of your face and are geometric in shape. The angles of the frames will complement your facial curves.
For a diamond face
Aim to draw attention to the eyes, giving this area more width. Play up a narrow forehead and chin with frames that are wider than your cheekbones, like cat eye and oval frames.
For a heart-shaped face
Frames that balance the width of the forehead with the narrowness of the chin are ideal. Round or square frames with curved edges will help draw attention away from a broad, high forehead.
